Error: Microsoft Plus! is not installed (due to Compression Agent will not run).
Error:
Microsoft Plus! is not installed.
Cause:
Compression Agent will not run on a computer with Windows 95 OEM Service Release 2 unless Microsoft Plus! is installed.
Solution:
Install Microsoft Plus! and run Compression Agent.
NOTE: Microsoft Plus! requires some Windows 95 files, so it is necessary to have the Windows 95 CD-ROM or diskettes handy when installing Microsoft Plus!.
1) Install Microsoft Plus!:
a) Insert the Microsoft Plus! CD into the CD-ROM drive. (The 'Microsoft Plus! for Windows 95 Setup' screen appears.)
b) Double-click the 'Install Plus!' icon. (The 'Microsoft Plus! for Windows 95' dialog box appears.)
c) Click 'Continue'. (The 'Name and Organization Information' dialog box appears.)
d) In the 'Name' box, type the name of the person or company using Microsoft Plus!.
e) In the 'Organization' box, type the name of the company or organization.
f) Click 'OK'. (The 'Confirm Name and Organization Information' dialog box appears.)
g) Click 'OK' if all information is correct.
NOTE: If any information is incorrect, click the 'Change' button and correct the information.
h) Type the CD-KEY number in the 'CD-Key' box.
i) Click 'OK'.
j) Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation of Microsoft Plus!.
2) Run Compression Agent.
